Board of Chagrin Arts, most recently involved in planning and fundraising for “Blind Injustice,” a musical production that will be performed at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square in July 2025.

Board of PreTerm which provides abortion care, birth control options, STD testing and treatment and wellness care.

Financial supporter of many progressive organizations, including Legal Aid, Planned Parenthood, Greenpeace, the Southern Law Poverty Center, Amnesty International (Partner in Conscience), the World Wildlife Federation (Partner in Conservation), Human Rights Campaign, Equality Ohio, Nature Conservancy and many others.

Financially supported and volunteered for many Democratic candidates at the national, state and local levels including Sherrod Brown, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Ted Lieu, Mazie Hirono, Mark Kelly, Jon Ossoff, Tim Ryan and the Ohio Democratic Judiciary.

Election Protection on the ground in Ohio and in Gwinnett, Georgia, providing nonpartisan voter access and protection on election day.

Eight years on the Board of the National Asian Pacific Bar Association (NAPABA).

Elected President of NAPABA in 1999,  which at the time had a membership of over 10,000 and now has grown to be the voice of over 80,000 legal practitioners nationwide. Continues to serve on NAPABA’s Leadership Advisory Council.

Past President (1998) of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
